Lucy and Lily greet dinner

Dwarf Nigerian Dairy Goats

We'd like each goat that we sell to find a good forever home with families or reputable farms. We have goats that have strong dairy bloodlines, and they can be used for dairy, show, or they make excellent pets. We want each buyer to provide a safe, happy and social environment for the goats. If you are new to goats, we can sell you a pair, since goats are a herd animal and do better with other goats. An affordable way to get started with goats is to get a wether and a doe or two wethers.

We do not usually sell bottle baby goats as we believe that dam-raising results in healthier kids. We may have adult goats available for sale, and these will be listed on our website and on Facebook. We publish our scheduled breedings on the website. We maintain a closed herd with biosecurity.

Goat Sales Policy

We have a small herd of goats and want each of them to find good homes with families or reputable farms. We are building our dairy herd with strong genetics, from a variety of top farms. We can provide support and advice after the sale, but we want each buyer to provide a safe, happy and social environment for the goats. We do not usually sell bottle baby goats as we believe that dam-raising results in healthier kids. We may have adult goats available for sale, these will be listed on our website and on Facebook. We publish our scheduled breedings on the website. We maintain a closed herd with biosecurity.

Deposits: We accept tentative reservations before live birth. We require an email and phone number. Once the kids are born, we will contact you and we require a non-refundable deposit of 1/2 of the purchase price on the kid we agree on. We accept PayPal, cash and checks through the regular mail before pickup for the deposit. If you choose PayPal, there will be a 3% fee that needs to be included. Goats are not listed as "sold" until payment is received.

Reservations: We accept reservations on planned breedings, with Deposits payment due after birth. The sale is listed as pending until the deposit is cleared. If you specify a scheduled breeding preference, you come first if you were first reservation on that doe, unless we choose to retain a kid. We accept up to four reservations on doelings and three reservations on bucklings on each doe. Also, if we come to your name and you pass on an opportunity, your name will be moved to the bottom of the list for future breedings if you choose to wait. You will be given 24 hours to decide if you want the kid, and the deposit must be received within 5 days.

Pickup: Your kid may be picked up after 8 weeks of age. We will contact you and we can schedule a date. When you come to get your kid, you pay the rest of the money in cash or you can pay with paypal in advance, and you will also receive your registration paperwork (unless you have purchased a wether), bill of sale and goat health record. If the goat is not picked up by agreed date, a boarding fee of $3 per day per goat will be applied. If not picked up upon agreed date, the buyer understands that they may forfeit their purchase as well as lose their deposit and the goat may be sold to someone else at any time after this date. Boarding fees are still owed if you cannot make the pickup and the goat goes to another buyer.

Terms of Sale: We guarantee that the goat is in good health on the day of pickup. We are not responsible for the animal's health or performance after leaving our farm.

We reserve the right to retain any kid at any time. We also reserve the right to refuse a sale at our discretion. In this case your deposit will be refunded or you can apply it to another goat.

Additional Fees: You can request a health record sheet for your goat. This will list any vaccines, medications or medical procedures before purchase. If you request health certificates or other veterinary services for transport, all costs associated must be paid before pickup.
